Our Story
As a family of firework enthusiasts, we wanted more than our own firework garden displays once or twice a year. With one successful family-run business already established - DADS appliance store, the founder and owner Jay Shelton couldn't think of a better way than to keep his life-long interest of fireworks going than to set up his own firework store in his local community.
Fireworks and firework displays have been a passion of Jays' and he always wanted the best of the best for friends and family displays. With this in mind, he put his experience and knowledge into action and wanting others to have the same fun and excitement as himself. He began his journey into the firework industry and put Whizz Bang Pop - The Firework Shop on the map.Our History
Whizz Bang Pop started up in business in August 2008 opened it's doors in our first retail store in October 2008 based in Perry Street, Gravesend and has remained a family-run business ever since. Over the last 12 years we have have widened our connections by suppling local pubs and clubs fireworks for their displays.
